Peace at Last

PeaceAtLast This is another layout inspired by the UKS weekly challenge.  Trying to incorporate the theme of peace and a bird was a challenge until I found these photos.  Challenge also required lots of white and not pattern papers plus there was a sketch to follow which I turned round to suit my photos.  The flowers are from the MM noteworthy range and the owl and branch rub-ons are from October Afternoon.  The little journalling sticker is SEI and of course the card is bazzill so a real mixture.

Getting From A to B

GettingFromAtoB I did this layout at our local crop on Saturday.  It was done for the weekly UKS challenge.  So I had a sketch to follow and an alphabet theme.

I did another layout but as that is for a team scraplift challenge I won't reveal it until the rest of the team have completed their layouts too.

Greve de Lecq

Greve_de_lecq I did this layout for this months Gogo sketch challenge.  Obviously I used this months gogo kit!  Photos were taken last year on a trip down to the local beach - but it was October, hence the coat!

April Crop

Nag_04 I had a productive evening at this months crop on Tuesday almost completing 2 layouts.  Didn't finish either because I had taken no alpahabets with me and no Cricut either!  So I have just added the titles now.

For both of them I used sketches from the Triple the Sketch blog.  The first one is this weeks sketch.  NAG stands for national age group and was the name of the swimming squad - hence the title.

All the papers, chipboard and rik-rak were from last months studio calico kit.

Somewhere_in_france

The second layout was an older sketch I hadn't used yet.  For this one I used scenic route papers from a scrap-room kit.  The title comes from the fact I have no idea at all where this is as it was taken at a stopping point whilst driving from Paris to Spain so could be anywhere in the middle of France!

UKS weekly challenge

Katherine190208 I did this layout on Monday for the UKS weekly challenge.  The challenge was to work to a sketch which only had one small photo on it and add ribbon, stamping and doodling.

I am not sure about this one - It was outside of my comfort zone leaving this much space.  I did like the photo of Katherine taken earlier this year - a nice natural shot.

Playing with Water

Playingwithwater This is the second layout I did today.  This time the inspiration was this weeks challenge on UKS.  It meant I had to find a photo with me in it so I went back to 1999 the earliest digi photos I have to find one!  Used the pink paislee paper from my studio calico kit along with the journalling block and the bling on the tree.

Becky Bouncing

Beckybouncing I have had another productive day.  My inspiration for this layout was this weeks sketch on Triple the Sketch.

When looking through my photos I found loads taken of my daughter on the trampoline so I decided to use a whole string of them to give the idea of movement.  Unfortunately as the pictures are so small they don't show up well on here.

Mostly used some of the final remnants of last months scrapagogo kit with a couple of extra bits.

A walk to Ouaisne

Today is national scrapbooking day and Triple the Sketch have a special sketch challenge.  A_walk_to_ouaisne_588_x_600 This is my layout for this challenge.  I used last months Studio Calico kit.

Unfortunately this isn't a great picture as it was taken with a flash rather than waiting till the morning.  The colours are sharper in real life and there is stitching round the edge which doesn't really show up.

Last night I did another cj entry for my UKS team cj and then today I went to our local crop.  I was working on the mission impossible class from last weeks cc on uks but I haven't finished that yet.

Cards

This morning I made 2 Cardscards for Katherine's friends.  I saw the idea of the tag cards in this months gogo greetings booklet but decided to use an older kit for the more feminine colours.  They are for two 15 year old girls!

Here they are with the tags out and one has some money attached too which is the reason I liked the idea of the tags so I could hide the money inside!

Card2Card1I also did a cj - our UKS team cj and without wanting to give too much away these cards inspired the design of that too!
