May Scrapagogo

Cadbury_worldI haven't got round to posting my last few layouts for a while.  All of them were done using the May scrapagogo kit. This one uses some older photos - I started it for the monthly scrapagogo challenge which had to feature your favourite food.  I didn't finish it in time for the challenge but it did mean a few old photos got scrapped.

Beautiful

I took the photo for this one on my new phone sat in a cafe in Nantes last month.  I thought the rub -on went well with the picture.  The chipboard flowers were painted in white and then a touch of colour added to the edges before covering with glossy accents. I used some doodlebug white paper frills round the photo matting just to add a bit more emphasis to the photo.

Finally some more photos from our trip to Paris at Easter.  This time I tried the matte version of glossy accents on the chipboard - worth a try but I prefer the glossy look.  As for the cadbury lo I used some maya road chipboard letters covered in papers and sanded round the edges.

K & J

I started this layout using my April scrapagogo kit at the monthly crop in May but really wasn't happy with it so ended up starting again and finally finished it a couple of weeks later.  K_j The photo was taken by one of Katherines friends when they were in Lanzarotte - a great fun photo.

This layout is different to my norm..no patterned paper in sight and lots of doodling...with the help of a stencil of course.  This is the 5th lo I have got from this months scrapagogo kit plus my cj entry...a record for me I think and still enough left for one or two more.

SSF Crop

Ok a bit of catching up to do.  On the 12th May I went to Croydon to meet up with some of my UKS team the Secret Stash Faeries.  I had a great weekend - so nice to put faces, personalities and voices to people I have been 'chatting' to for over a year.  I have now met 7/9 of the team but as the other 2 are in NZ that could be a bit trickier.  We had the crop on Saturday and then the Faeries went out for a meal in the evening.  On Sunday I went shopping with Pauline, Jane, Debs and Nicky and then had trouble packing!

Anyway here are the layouts I managed to do at the crop.

This one was all my own work using a scrap room kit.

And this one was based on a class kit from Sarah.
